To understand people's motivations, I surveyed everybody from developers to enthusiasts to artists about their experience in Web3. To further learn about protocol staking as a whole, I spent time with blockchain developers and immersed myself in the world of crypto to understand its pain points.

RESULTS

Most users scored really high on the System Usability Scores, and the most common thought at the end was users kept wanting to do more. After they understood the core usage of the dApp, they could see the potential for what a simple interface could do for the general public.

Jinoro is here to simplify it all for the common retail and institutional investor -- it takes the pressure of needing to set up your own validator nodes, logging keys, and

overlook the promise and potential of a decentralized future.

As of today, we received our first Testnet deposit, the interface having successfully led a potential first customer through the entire user flow on their own. That in and of itself is very encouraging and I can't wait to see how this project grows from here!

I walked through several users through the prototype wireframes and Goerhli Testnet application when it went live. The results were really stellar!

After documenting the emotional journey of many Web3 natives, I understood that the technicalities can be overwhelming for any expert. It takes weeks of planning out the method of attack when it comes to a new protocol and Jinoro was no exception.

After coming up with the MVP features, I wanted to cut all the potential fat and bloat from the interface and focus on core functionality.

My goal was to make the most minimal interface possible look as sleek and as simple as possible.

Jinoro serves as a one-click staking activation, doing everything from spinning up validator keys to seamlessly running the cloud infrastructure, abstracted away in a simple interface for the user.

USER RESEARCH

Currently, the adoption of Web3 is dependent on being technically savvy as well as shrewd and responsible. When you add onto the fact that the design landscape can make things feel even more confusing, it's no wonder why this industry struggles to become mainstream.

I wanted a clean dashboard that embraced simplicity, it should be a place where users felt a pleasant peace, rather than feel like they were on the ground floor of Nasdaq, screaming at other traders.

I kept the design ethos the same throughout the major staking functions. We show only buttons that are considered necessities and we abstracted away everything else so users could focus on the main functionality here: staking made easy.
